Ing. Magnus Lincoln Quarshie served as a Board Chairman of the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES) from 2010 to 2018, providing leadership and stewardship to the Fellowship during a significant period of its ministry and development. A professional engineer and Christian leader, Ing. Quarshie is a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (FGhIE) and an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in transportation, infrastructure development, engineering consultancy, and leadership. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an MSc in Transportation and Road Engineering from TU/IHE Delft, Netherlands, and an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, UK. Throughout his professional career, Ing. Quarshie has contributed to major infrastructure and transportation initiatives in Ghana and beyond. He has served as a transportation expert on various projects, including work relating to Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), cycling infrastructure, transport planning, and Ghana's National Transport Policy. In 2013, he was selected by EMBARQ USA and Canada's International Development Research Centre (IDRC) as one of a small group of global experts to develop research topics on active transport and non-motorised transportation. His leadership extends beyond GHAFES. He served as President of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) in 2014/15 and later as President of the West Africa Federation of Engineering Organisations (WAFEO) from 2015–2017. He was also elected as the 5th President of the Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA) in 2021. Ing. Quarshie is currently associated with Delin Consult Ltd, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer, and has continued to contribute to engineering, infrastructure development, leadership, and professional development in Ghana. His GHAFES Legacy During his eight-year tenure as Board Chairman, Ing. Magnus Lincoln Quarshie brought together professional leadership, Christian commitment, and a passion for developing people. His service forms an important part of the leadership history of GHAFES and the continued effort to Know Christ and Make Him Known. GHAFES gratefully honours Ing.
